Save up to 50% at The National Wildlife Federation's Winter Sale! They have some great sweatshirts and t-shirts on sale. I particularly like this "Advice from a Garden" t-shirt. It says, "Cultivate lasting friendships * Sow seeds of kindness * Listen to sage advice * Don't let the little things bug you * Be outstanding in your field * Take thyme for yourself * No vining!"
That would be a great t-shirt to wear at spring plant sales. I'm sure it would draw lots of comments from other gardeners. Gift items are also on sale, including an adorable bird bath or feeder; and now you can save lots of $$$'s on holiday cards...and, we all know how expensive cards can be. And, as an extra bonus you receive $10 off on every $75 or more purchase on regular priced items now through March 31st. So, if you're planning on adding a couple new birdfeeders or houses to your garden this spring, now's the perfect time to make that purchase. I love browsing through the many plant catalogs that are arriving daily in the mail. And, since we experienced "below normal" temps already this winter, I'm in search of some "cold-hardy" plants to spruce up my spring garden. Nature Hills is one of those nurseries that offers everything from annuals to trees, and everything in between (edibles...fruit trees...organic plants...vines...groundcovers...shrubs).
One of my favorites that they offer is Indian Blanket Flower...a great bloomer! You can request a free catalog from them, or order online and take advantage of their $4.95 flat-rate shipping charge on all live plants that you order. The more you order...the more you save...as shipping costs can be hefty. See our list of all the latest coupons, discounts & special offers on plants and garden products. |

Gardeners love to chat with other gardeners and (dare I say it)... show off their gardens. And, why not! We put a lot of hard work into our gardens, and we want to share it with others. We also like connecting with other gardeners to talk about plants. So, if you haven't started your own garden blog, maybe this is the year to do so.
They're easy to set up. You don't need to be a computer expert...but you do need a computer and a digital camera. The most popular blogging venues are Blogger, Wordpress & Typepad. Some offer free blogs, while others charge a small monthly payment but offer more ammenities and options. Update to this post: New from Typepad..Get 20% off for LIFE on plus and pro-yearly subscriptions by purchasing a one-year subscription. Enter this exclusive code during the checkout process: RESOLVE2BLOG2010 for a lifetime subscription. Check out my other blog (photo shown above), iloveplants! You'll find lots of regional gardening links for other gardeners in your state and a customized Seed & Plant Finder that searches through 1,500 nurseries to locate the specific plant or seed you're looking for. And, if you create your own garden blog, please send me a link via email. I will gladly include you on my blogroll, both here at Garden Bargains Online and iloveplants! Be sure to tell me what state your garden is in. Happy blogging in 2010! See our list of all the latest coupons, discounts & special offers on plants and garden products. |
